T-Stat Shines at WSRM 2022
T-Stat Tissue Oximeter continues its efforts to expand globally by shedding new light on tissue oximetry efficacy and value when utilizing White Light Technology.
While at WSRM, Dr. Otuoke presented two valuable talks that reviewed his and his colleagues at Guy St. Thomas in London, UK, experiences using T-Stat. Both highlighting the importance in using the T-Stat tissue oximeter to monitor tissue flaps.
The biggest take away however, was the ability to monitor patients with dark skin pigmentation. Traditional NIR technology is hindered and unable to see beyond the color of skin without signal interference. T-Stat white light technology can report accurate ST02% on all patient skin types.
